Am I correct in assuming this is on the Enchanted Edition Beta on Linux? Could you tell me if your friends are also on Linux or on Mac/Windows? Have you made sure that your friends have also enabled the Beta? Note that even Windows users will have to enable to Beta if they wish to play online with Linux/Mac Beta users. To celebrate the official release of the editors for Trine Enchanted Edition and Trine 2, both games are free on Steam this weekend 16th-19th of October. The option to opt out of beta programs should be available in the drop-down menu. This is easy to do by right-clicking the games in your Steam Library, choosing Properties and navigating to the BETAS tab.
